SDS Udhampur takes out impressive Shobha Yatra on eve of Maha Shivratri
UDHAMPUR, Feb 10: Sanatan Dharam Sabha (SDS) Udhampur has organized an
impressive Shobha Yatra on the eve of Maha Shivratri which is being
celebrated on February 13.
Shoba Yatra started from the office of the Sanatan Dharam Sabha, Udhampur, Chabutra Bazar and again culminated at SDS office after passing through Main Bazar, Lal Chowk, Gole Market, Dabbar Chowk, Mukherji Bazar, Ramnagar Chowk, Court Road, Salathia Chowk, Hospital Road, Talab Salliyan and Chabutra Bazar.
Colorful Jankis was prepared by the different organizations. A large number of devotees participated in the Shobha Yatra with religious fervor and chanting “Bham Bham Bhole”. The Shobha Yatra was held under the supervision of Dr. Jogeshwar Gupta, president Sanatan Dharam Sabha Udhampur. Business Community of Udhampur has welcomed the Shobha Yatra by distributing Halwa, sweets, and snacks to the devotees.
Member Legislative Assembly (MLA) of Udhampur Assembly Constituency, Pawan Gupta also participated in the yatra. President, SDS, Dr. Jogeshwar Gupta has complimented the devotees and the people of Udhampur for their presence in Shobha Yatra.
